Lucia Walters joins the cast of Life Unexpected.

Walters’ character, Fern, is a social worker assigned to Lux after her birth parents are given custody. This marks Lucia first appearance in the highly anticipated series and she will be seen again in several episodes to follow. Life Unexpected follows the life of a teenage girl given up for adoption by her high school parents only to come back sixteen years later having gone from foster home to foster home.
